A self-proclaimed ‘bad mom’ TikToker has stirred up controversy by sharing a video featuring the latest beauty treatments done on her 11-year-old daughter. In the initial footage, the girl appears in her school uniform, ready to reveal her painted nails, and in another clip, the mother proudly displays the girl’s fake eyelashes.
This isn’t the first time this TikToker has shocked netizens; previous controversies include getting her daughter banned from school for wearing $200 sneakers, or almost R$1000.00, and admitting to spending $20,000, nearly R$100,000, on Christmas gifts for her kids despite receiving financial assistance from social services.
In the videos, the mother comments on the beauty of the eyelashes and surprises viewers with her daughter’s new nails, which are huge, adorned with candy-shaped decorations, clearly heavy and inappropriate for a child. The TikToker seems unfazed: “They’re literally the prettiest nails ever. They are beautiful.”
Most internet users criticized the mother for her choices, and comments on the post include: “She is a child, stop taking that away from her,” wrote one. “I’m just concerned about how she will do everyday things, like washing her hair and other things,” pointed out another. Others saw no issue: “They are so cute. It’s almost Christmas; surely the school can be a bit more flexible with these things.”
